Our Mission
At With Every Step Inc., Our mission is to bring joy and dignity to those in need, we provide seniors in nursing facilities and those that are shut- in with specially curated gifts that uplift their spirit and remind them that they are valued and loved. We believe in the power of small gestures to make a big impact. Through our efforts, we hope to spread happiness and bring a sense of belonging to those who may feel isolated or forgotten. Together, we can make a difference and bring dignity to every individual we serve.

Founder and Executive Director
My name is Shalania, and I am a proud cancer fighter. My journey with cancer began about in 2019 when I was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Carcinoma. It’s a tough battle but I’m blessed to still be here. During my time in the hospital, I experienced firsthand the challenges that come with being Ill and suffering with depression. Not only was I faced with physical and emotional struggles, but I also noticed the lack of support and resources available for my fellow patients, particularly seniors. Seniors often make up most of the patients in the hospital and nursing facilities. Many of them are alone and have limited financial resources to support their medical needs let alone personal hygiene needs. During my stay at the hospital, I noticed that some patients have no family or friends to visit or provide them with necessities.
It was during this time I realized the importance of visitors and having dignity products during your hospital stay. That’s when I decided to start a nonprofit organization, With Every Step inc.
Being a patient myself, I understand that every little bit of support can make a huge difference, that’s why I’m so passionate about giving back to the community and helping seniors who are going through some challenges. I hope to create a community of love and, support and compassion for our Seniors.
I encourage anyone who knows a senior who needs dignity products to reach out to us. We are here to lend a helping hand. Together we can make a difference and bring hope to those in need, with every step.

Walking for the Cause
Join us every Saturday as we walk for health and awareness, please consider bringing a dignity product with you to donate for our seniors! We meet at the park on Plant Street in Winter Garden in front of the Vida apartments.
